WHY ENGLISH IS IMPORTANT FOR MY MAJOR ?

the first reason is, because English is the international language that is used by the people in the world. Although there are several other international languages ​​such as Mandarin, Japanese, or other languages, but at least we mastered one foreign language, namely English, and then that according to the results of a survey of English is the most popular language in the world at the same time the most widely adopted language became official language in several countries and international organizations. there are 53 countries and 10 international organizations use English as the formal language. almost all countries in the world apply for English as a second language after their own national language.

That was the cause of the English language is very important to learn to society in general. Then how correlation to the economy. Among the many specific science jargon, english to economics was his understanding that the level is quite difficult, because the economy is vital something to support human life. Economic problems have not been exhaustively to solve, so that state officials continue to seek a solution of the economic problems of this, of fulfill the needs, price stability, eradication of corruption  never ending. English terms of economies is different with the English language in general. Moreover, many Indonesian economy ekonomomi adopt abroad, so that the Indonesian economy will not be separated from issues of international economy, plus the pioneers of economic experts from abroad so that the books used by students automatically refer to the books of foreign authors, such as Paul samulson, or Mankiw and others.

6.     Economic theories such as the theory of keyness, hymer theory, philip curve, all of discussion using the english language.

7.    For the English government would be very important to facilitate the take policy on international economic issues.

8.    If all students of economics understand the English language, will enable them to understand the latest economic issues, update information, and certainly make it easier to communicate with foreigners.

WHAT I WANT TO DO AFTER I’VE DONE MY GRADUATE ?

I am interested in the faculty of economics, because all of the people in the world will continue to engage in economic activities as long as they live in this world. Unlimited needs but limited tool for economics that causes it to appear. Economics not only discusses the patterns of consumption, but more than it. That is where economics is more important than just a set pattern of consumption. For that to economic activities in Indonesia running smoothly,  Then it requires a reliable economic experts in order to create a policy that could make the coutry economy improves. Such as the existence of government as regulator of the economy in Indonesia, . if the ministers are appointed by the government to regulate food and clothing in Indonesia understand economics and know what to do, certainly its not going to be a problem and this is precisely the appropriate action.

All those people who are struggling in the economic field, such entrepreneurs, accountants, auditors, managers, accounting staff, where they were all to assist an agency experiencing financial constraints, or to help them make decisions. At the end of their existence is to help the welfare of clients in need. By looking at the progress at future of economic university degree very large, then I choose this faculty, although my own background from science.

I want to be an auditor or becoming an accountant, because of the existence of accountants and auditors is very important, would not want any financial period, the companies need accountants and auditors to examine their financial statements, apart from that, not only as a function inspector auditors of financial statements, but auditors assist companies in making decisions in the future, what is to be done by the company in the future, and what lines are to be added or reduced operations, what division should be considered more. Then any accounts that affect the company. The existence of the auditor will be crucial to the survival of the company in the future.

The primary purpose an auditor in accounting is to review and verify a company's financial statements and to form an opinion about the company's financial statements. Auditors also review the accounting records, systems and controls and then comment on their weaknesses in their audit report; this helps the business to strengthen their operations. Auditors also perform the role of providing statistical analysis on the clarity and effectiveness of the accounting policies that have been put in place by a company.

Internal auditing is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organisation's operations. It helps an organisation accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes."

Major roles and responsibilities of internal audit function are summarised as below:

·         evaluates and provides reasonable assurance that risk management, control, and governance systems are functioning as intended and will enable the organisation's objectives and goals to be met

·         reports risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to the audit committee and provides recommendations for improving the organisation's operations, in terms of both efficient and effective performance

·         evaluates information security and associated risk exposures

·         evaluates regulatory compliance program with consultation from legal counsel

·         evaluates the organisation's readiness in case of business interruption

·         maintains open communication with management and the audit committee

·         teams with other internal and external resources as appropriate

·         engages in continuous education and staff development

·         provides support to the company's anti-fraud programs.

I think  i’m so happy to be independent person at institutional, and this job is very interesting for the student by have done their studyng at university. Especially for student of accounting major. many challenges in this job, particularly softskill test, intelgensi level, and the ability to communicate with someone, because the information that will be generated to support the sustainability of company in the future.

And then i want to be lecturer, why ? i dont look at the salary, but i’m focus at the student, how to making them succsess at their major. How to make student understand and love  whatever  their learning. not bored to learn, the one way in order  they don’t feel bored in learning is, lecturer teaching techniques that are also not dull, not teach one way, not authoritarian, and invite students to understand that science is not difficult and it is important that make them understand that learning fun.

If the student had love for learning, then we dont feel worry about the value they would earn, the current education curriculum emphasizes that the teacher is no longer flexible function. teachers as facilitators for students, ultimately they are confused, they are embarrassed to ask, and finally they think that college is just to get a degreenot  to get a science. so any work that we field, should be useful for other people, not just a big salary, but our ability is not appropriate. many today that his title is not in accordance with his or her job, which eventually they impose themselves and the result is certainly not appropriate with the expectation. every job there is a separate governing ethics, examples such as accountants, accountants no professional ethics, so that when working in the field, they will hold on to the ethics, so it is less likely to commit fraud.

When the work have done with the heart,  that  job will produce the best results. if a teacher worth his duties as a teacher. There willn’t  stupidity in this world. if teachers teach attitude to their students, then all students will also bhave  good attitude. when an economics expert to understand ethics and regulations, it will be a very small possibility of irregularities. when all professions are run according to his knowledge, the results will be in line with expectations
